For the unintiated among you (and for shame! What are you doing on the internet?), Sirius Black is a character from JK Rowling's Harry Potter series.

He is currently 36 years old, although he looks mid-40s. He was once exceptionally handsome, although he's lost most of his good looks. He's about 6', and very thin, although not nearly as skeletal as he was after he first escaped from Azkaban. He has very long black hair and grey eyes. He has a quick temper, and is sometimes slightly mentally unbalanced, but he is also extremely loyal, brave, and intelligent.

Specific to dizzy_land, After graduating from Hogwarts, Sirius spent three months in Auror Academy, but dropped out. Instead, he studied to become a Healer, and served as a mediwizard for the Order during the first war. He also became involved in a relationship with Remus during his last year of Hogwarts, but the two managed to keep the relationship a secret from everyone except Lily Potter. They split up for obvious reasons after Sirius was sent to Azkaban accused of working for Voldemort, but reconciled with Remus shortly after staying with him the summer after the events of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. When he came to Disneyland (1995 in his own time), he had just been on the wrong end of a Stunning Spell from his cousin Bellatrix, and fell through some sort of black drapery. He has no idea what happened to Remus or his godson Harry, nor that he is presumed dead back in Britain.

Powers: Sirius is a wizard, and he is a good one. It would take far too much time to explain everything that means to those unfamiliar with HP, but essentially he can do very powerful magic as long as he has a wand, and a lot of basic magic without a wand. He can generate light, cast spells that can serve as rather effective laser weapons, levitate things, cause embarrassing boils to appear all over your body, transfigure inanimate objects into other inanimate objects and humans and animals into anything he pleases, park permitting of course. He could probably control you, torture you, or kill you, but won't as he's one of the good guys.

Of course, he can also turn into a very large and frightening but really quite friendly black dog, called Padfoot or occasionally Snuffles.

If you want to know anything specific, drop me a line on my OOC post or better yet, read the books. Just don't mention to Sirius what that werewolf went and did in the end of Book 6, if you don't mind, it might make him a bit upset.
